IGOR ALEKSANDER, em artigo sobre engenharia elétrica e eletrônica publicado na revista - www.nature.com - v. 413, p. 23, aborda a consciência artificial enquanto artefato químico e elétrico gerador de sensação da realidade em modo não-biológico, com destaque para os parágrafos inicial e final, in verbis:

"Despite sounding like the mother of all oximorons (sic), the concept of a conscious machine is gaining credibility. Certainly, no actual machine could be described as being conscious. But neurologists and engineers are developing ever more accurate activity in living brains that is necessary for a specific conscious sensation to arise. As this understanding is mechanistic, it raises the serious possibility that an implementation of such models could give rise to machines that are driven by the same mechanisms, and hence are ‘conscious’ in a non-biological way.

Of course, any robot constructed with the features I have described might be able to perceive and imagine itself in a visual world. More speculatively, emotion, desire, ambition, joy and depression, which also have a neural basis, would become candidates for being transferred into engineered artefacts. As far as the conscious robot goes, it is not our emotion, desire and so on that would be transferred to it - rather, it would have a non-biological neural structure, only developing emotions that would be appropriete to its own existence. It would share with living beings the evolutionary, emergent, depictive and interactive mechanisms that make us conscious."

Interessante notar a relação feita entre a qualidade da estrutura neural - biológica ou não - e a qualidade da consciência - artificial ou não - em paralelo ao pensamento filosófico aristotélico, que destaca a sensação (aisthesis) como ponto de partida para percepção consciente do mundo exterior, valendo lembrar a hipótese de construção de conexões eletro-orgânicas em nanotecnologia, visando reconhecer e superar aquela barreira, bem como paraconsistentemente programar algoritmos de reconhecimento e superação das divergências valorativas que natural e/ou artificialmente ocorrem de tal experimento, para não terminar o filme falando e/ou ouvindo tragicômicamente... "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain... time to die."

Você Cidadania é dotada de consciência? Em caso positivo, qual a paraconsistente linguagem de comunicação entre o seu mundo interior e o mundo exterior? Em caso negativo, como paraconsistentemente fazer para construir uma consciência e/ou linguagem da mesma?
